PRINT. CHECK. THEN CUT.
Keep your measurements on the page.
Print a 1:1 cup wrap PDF on A4 or US Letter paper, align tiled sheets and verify the 50 mm ruler.
01
Choose the right export
Cut-only SVG contains the solid outline without text or guide paths. Reference SVG includes the bleed, safe inset, orientation labels and a 50 mm ruler. For a paper proof, use PDF. Its dimensions are stored in physical units, but your print dialog can still change the scale.
02
Choose one sheet or tiled paper
One true-size sheet creates a custom page large enough for the outline and instructions. Use a printer and paper that can actually accommodate it. For a home printer, choose A4 (210 × 297 mm) or US Letter (215.9 × 279.4 mm). The tool splits larger templates into numbered rows and columns with 8 mm overlap.
03
Turn automatic scaling off
In your PDF viewer, select 100% or Actual size. Disable Fit to page, Shrink oversized pages and booklet or multiple-pages-per-sheet layouts. Match the printer paper setting to the PDF. Each PDF page includes a 50 mm calibration line: measure the distance between its endpoint ticks before using the outline.
04
Assemble tiled sheets
Lay the sheets out in row and column order. Trim the border on one of each pair of adjacent sheets, overlap by 8 mm, and align the repeated crosses in the shared area. Tape away from the final cut line. The page border is an assembly boundary, not the cup outline. Measure the ruler on every page; all should agree.
05
Cut on the solid outline
The outer dashed line is artwork bleed; the inner dashed line is a safe inset. Cut the paper proof along the solid line, then check the top, bottom and seam on your cup without stretching it. Tiled sheets are for verifying paper fit, not a promise of seamless multi-sheet sublimation transfers.
